[Canceled!] Documenting Social Science Datasets: a survey of metadata tools
Workshop canceled. Please check back next semester for similar topics or get in touch with Research Librarian Jeremy Kenyon (jkenyon@uidaho.edu).
Sharing data – either by choice or by requirement – is an increasingly common aspect of research. In order to make data useful to other parties, it must be documented. This session will explore a range of tools available to assist you in documenting the details of social scientific datasets. We will cover platform-independent tools, those free and proprietary, that will help you explain your data to others in order to support secondary analysis. No experience necessary.
