Advanced Podcasting

A continuation of the Introduction to Podcasting Workshop, the advanced workshop provides further tools to integrate interviews, music, and additional sounds to your podcast. In addition, you will learn how to use RSS Feeds in order to make your podcast available on popular podcast streaming platforms. Topics covered include: how to “spice” up your podcast (resources and regulations for adding music and sfx; how to integrate a Skype interview into your podcast; how to use RSS feeds to get your podcast on popular podcast platforms (i.e. iTunes, Stitcher, etc.); how to write for the ear and how to script your show; techniques for great interviews and how to edit them.

Due to the format of this workshop, space is limited and registration is required; please use the form below to register.

Please bring a laptop and headphones, as well as pre-recorded audio or podcasts if possible. Students should have access to Audacity http://www.audacityteam.org/download/, SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/signin), and Skype https://www.skype.com/en/download-skype/skype-for-computer/.
