Exploring the Information Landscape | Expanding your information world
Everyone has their own ideological worldviews, and we tend to seek out information that reflects the perspectives we already hold. In this workshop, we’ll practice using resources that can help us understand our own ideological worldviews and blind spots, as well as find and explore news sources and authors that hold different ideological worldviews than our own. We’ll also discuss strategies for avoiding snap judgements and chaos climbers.
