That essay you wrote for class belongs to you, and only you - you control the legal right to distribute or sell that essay if you want. It hasn’t always been that way, though, and in other countries you might find the rules are different. This workshop gives a short overview of the history of copyright, copyright protections today, and some of the practical and ethical considerations around copyright.
