GIS Day @ U of I -- Mapping Minds, Shaping the World: 25 Years of GIS Day

GIS Day @ University of Idaho is a free event made possible by the U of I Library, with support from our sponsors, that brings together scholars, students, professionals, businesses, and the public to discuss geospatial technologies and demonstrate their many uses. This year's theme is Mapping Minds, Shaping the World: 25 Years of GIS Day, exploring "how combining human creativity with technology helps us discover hidden trends, support sustainable growth, and make smarter decisions using the power of location data". The sessions will take place on Wednesday, Nov 20th, 2024 as a hybrid event hosted at Clearwater room of the Idaho Student Union Building and streaming live via Zoom.
