Make it @ the MILL Lithophanes

Transform your favorite photos into a stunning 3D-printed lithophane! You'll learn the step-by-step process of converting an image into a 3D model using free software.

A lithophane is a unique piece of art where an image is carved or molded into a semi-translucent material. When a light source is placed behind it, the image magically appears!

Please bring your own laptop to participate, as you will be modeling your own lithophane. No prior experience with 3D modeling is necessary. We will provide instructions on what software to download beforehand.
