Information Landscape Workshops | F**k this workshop: Taboo words, contextual meaning, and censorship

What do swear words reveal about the nature of communication and the information landscape? Why are most words harmless, and a few select terms taboo? In this workshop we will explore information gatekeeping, contextual meanings, and the cultural and political power of curse words.  BONUS: You’ll get to look up your favorite cuss word in library books and databases.
