Introduction to Zotero (GSE)

This workshop will be held in the First Floor Classroom (Library room 120) and live via Zoom.

This workshop will guide you through everything you need to know about the citation manager Zotero. You will learn how to organize scholarly materials, create bibliographies, summarize annotations, collaborate on group projects and preserve your research for future reference.

 

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn how to install and sync Zotero to keep your research up to date across multiple devices
  • Understand how Zotero uses the Snapshot browser plug-in to collect metadata and generate citations
  • Discover how to export and preserve your research at the end of the semester, making it easy to access later while minimizing storage needs
