3D Modeling in Autodesk 3DS Max: Part 2

This workshop is part 2 of a 3 part series. Participation in Part 1 is not required for participation in Part 2.

Autodesk 3DS Max is used for basic 3D modeling, 3D Printing Outputs, and Lighting/Materials. During this workshop, participants will follow along with the instructor in the software, allowing them to learn techniques and functions of the program. The instructor will also be walking around and answering any questions that may come up as the time period proceeds!

Part 2 will focus on:

  • Content Review
  • Explanation of key differences in content between 2D and 3D
  • Materials and Application
  • Materials Tips and Tricks
  • Lighting Application
  • Lighting Tips and Tricks
  • Basic Rendering Techniques
  • Exporting Rendered Content

 

This workshop requires the use of a laptop with Autodesk 3DS Max installed. Please create an account and download 3DS Max at https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/3ds-max prior to the workshop.
