Introduction to Concepts in Coding

Managing and working with information increasingly requires basic skills in manipulating files by using simple scripts written to automate a task, or even just to run a function in Excel. The focus of this workshop is on learning the basic concepts of writing code, such as, assigning variables, types of data, creating a loop, or understanding if/else conditions. The goal is to learn the fundamental principles of using most modern data management tools from Excel to R to Python to Javascript.
