SUMMARY:Finding and Using Print and Online Government Information Resources in the U of I Library (GSE)
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will be held in the Data Hub (Library room 107) 
 and live via Zoom.\n\n \n\nHave you ever wanted to find government 
 information related to your research topic but didn’t know where to 
 begin? Government resources are available on a wide variety of subjects and 
 relevant to all levels of research. As a member of the Federal Depository 
 Library Program (FDLP)\, the University of Idaho Library supports the 
 FDLP’s mandate of “Keeping America Informed” by providing free public 
 access to historical and current Federal Government resources distributed 
 through the FDLP. In this workshop you will be introduced to U.S. Federal 
 Government Documents and learn how to find government information resources 
 through the U of I Library and beyond. \n\n \n\nFollowing this workshop\, 
 participants will:   \n\n\n	\n	Briefly learn about the U of I Library’s 
 role in the Federal Depository Library Program and how documents are 
 classified \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Learn how to use the UI Library catalog to find 
 print and online government information in the Library’s collection 
 \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Learn how to find government information online from other 
 sources such as federal agency websites \n	\n
